Lily Cowles is an actor, creator, and swamp-yankee storyteller. As an undergraduate Religion major at Princeton, her study focused on man’s search for meaning; for her senior thesis, she produced a documentary examining Pentecostalism in Mozambique. Earning a Master of Science degree in Visual Anthropology at Oxford was a true triumph for Lily, who had always wanted to be a scientist. Her experience birthed “I Am Anthropology”, a seven-part web series wherein overeducated anthropologist Libby Cole searches for meaning in her own life. While having the enormous fortune of editing films for The Difference Diaries, Lily got an opportunity to move to Los Angeles, where she is currently exploring the other side of the camera.
